Sibyl Masquelier is retired from the business world and writing a memoir. Her career spans over forty-five years in education at the University of Miami, social work with the Cuban Refugee Assistance Program during the 1960s and early 1970s Freedom Flights, human resources as the first women hired to be a Department Head at The Miami Herald, and as one of the first women to be an international Executive Recruiter. She serves, or has recently served, on the Boards of Maine Writers and Publishers Alliance, Seven Eagles Media Productions, and Maine Women’s Fund. She holds degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Miami. She has been actively involved with Global Press Institute since 2007.
